a few people have said its the same frame as a kona dawg/coiler etc etc-its not...kona use a 4 bar linkage, the banshee uses a horst link system which is similar but very different-kona have never used this apart from on some turner burners branded as kona stabs from way back in 98 for its dh team...the main suspension rocker pivots on the back of the seat tube on a kona-its front mounted on the carrera, and rear pivot is on the seat stays on konas where as on the banshee its chainstay mounted-i.e horst link-if it has anything in common with other brands it would be a specialized fsr...or elsworth dare etc...anyway 8 from me cos i've owned one and it was a bloody good ride and rear sus action was smooth as hell-until it started creaking lol anyway bable over!

i have got the same bike as this. i think its a really good bike. the only things that i have changed on mine is the pedals and the wheels, very nice looking bike this one though

I have the exact same bike as this and for the past two years it has been fine but a couple of months ago i started feeling alot of flex in the frame and the breaks are failing dramatically.
I tryed to bleed the breaks myself with a professional seringing kit, but had no luck with that so i then took it to a professional bike store and STILL NO difference :@.
Oh yeah and the reason iv posted this comment on here is because i just changed a trye on my carrera and i realise that the flex in the frame was being caused by a CRACK in the support bar on the rear of the A frame, just behind the crank, so up on knowing that now i would RECOMMEND that you keep that support bar clean at all times or it will become weathered by rain and mud, etc...

like thes i had one of thes iv got the o9 virson wats good better parts but i prefer the older fame like this iv had problems wit the newer frame i love thes bike kona wold chang u over a 1000+ for sum fink like thes but coz halfords own the carrera brand so they can chuk them out cheap olny probs they never put to gever that good rate mine

luv it m8, who realy cares if its a halfords make its still probably better than half the bikes on here and looks sweet with the white aswell. Just out of intrest how much would one of these cost cuz everyone is saying its not crazy money ?

got one the same couple of weeks ago!
rides sweet especially now i got the chain changed and the cassette setup properly - dont think the work exp boy from halfords was the best to set up my bike!
just waiting to get my husselfelts and a chainguide on now!

just to let you's all know this is the exact same frame as the kona dawg primo,the only difference is the componentry!
it has the same build quality as carrera and kona are both built in the same factory in thailand.
i upgraded the fork,got a fox air can,mono brakes and fitted stronger cranks,now its one of the best bikes ive ever ridden
