Well its my bike, built and evolved the way I like things so I should be happy, if I wasnt then I would change it until I was.
People constantly remark how fast this goes on the way down, and when they ride it they cannot believe how smooth it feels, Santa Cruz truly know how to make a great bike. I dont see many other Bullit's with a triple chainring set up, but I use this like a xc bike when I need to, it climbs over rough stuff better than any other bike out there (apart from mabye another SC model, like the Heckler..) the extra weight does not bother me, it just makes you tougher. I somtimes think about getting an auto height adjusting seat post thingy, but then I like the rest I get at the top when dropping my post down for the good stuff, so is it neccessary? What do you think?.

Medium, Fifth element Shock, Fox Van 36 forks, Halo freedom Disc Wheels, Thompson elite seatpost, Avid Juicy 7 frond disc, shimano deore rear, hope headset & hed dr, easton havoc stem, old old alloy riser bars, DMR V8s, shimano xt gears and shifters, hollowtech cranks, 3 rings on my wagon for climbing like a demon, this is the ultimate do anything machine. This does dartmoor and afan hell climbs and works like a magic carpet down here or in the alps.
