the forks are about as good as a kick in the nuts, i had mine on my stinky for less than a week before ordering new ones. i think the rebound is tunable with a 2ft long allen key or by removing the springs and possibly the air valve then compressing the fork and reaching in with a long allen key but would require epic patience to get dialled in. the mechanic i spoke to at don skene in cardiff actually sold me a 2ft long allen key and told me thats what i had to do so i just bought new forks.

your forks are budget, ive just bought totem coils for my goose and would reccomend them, i wouldnt but marzocchi newer than 07 as there a bit unreliable

'06 will be fine. its '08 & '09 that you want to avoid. marzocchi has moved production from italy to tiawan and build quality and consistency has since suffered.

Anyone done any fork upgrades on these? mine are either way too slack to pedal on or to hard they top out! i've heard mar 66 are the best upgrade are there anymore others have tried?

I would use mar 66. There great strong forks i have them on my stinky.
