1 of 16 frames handmade in Australia full carbon with a 14 speed gearbox. Great ride under 39lbs in weight with descent finishing kit. custom bearing for the Saint cranks so you dont have to replace them every ten minutes!. every detail well considered = near perfection to ride and maintain.

dont really know what to think about this rather alien looking thing..... awesome that gearboxs are being developed for mtb's but tbh in my opinion they are overly complicated n reli not necesary on a dh rig, but i like the concept of it.

Hot bike, made in New Zealand actually, and there is way more the 16 of these around, there was a previous model (M8) which has been around since 2001
getting quite common now and although most people think the headtube would snap, it won't because is far stronger than aluminium.
Best bike I have ever riden and well worth the money

Man thats weird. Sorry but I'm not keen. Although I see the idea & i know that one day all bikes will be based on a similar gearbox design. I just hope they can make them better looking. Respect to you though for sticking on the line being different.

I first saw these about 18 months ago and thought "thats a nice bit a kit" and considered one myself. There are too many MBUK numpty's on here who don't know jack s**t about suspension, frame design or how it works. Maybe they should spend some time reading up on a site like ridemonkey and actually learn something before they type uneducated s**t about other peoples stuff just because they don't understand it. If it wasn't for companies like Lahar, Nicolai and BCD Racing things wouldn't be moving forward in the gearbox direction.

i ahppen to know that your Scott is quite heavy! yes i owned one..... for about 3 weeks! Id beat you on the track anyday and look far better in the process. oh and how can you not like a drivtrain that requires oil once a year? with 14 instant engaging gears without pedalling. anyway ust your crappy unjustified opinionLOL

nice, dont like the idea of carbon for a DH frame though.
thtLAHARguy replied... on 18 October 2007
the carbon is very strong it doesnt have any flex where it wasnt intended. the rear swingarm does flex up to 1.5" creting a endless feel to the travel. only one rear chainstay has ever been broken and you simply layer up some carbon on top and its fixed!

NICE
thtLAHARguy replied... on 28 October 2007
all the weight is right under your legs so the bike can be easily manipulated on the track and in the air with the total weight under 39lbs i.e. regular downhill bike weight without reliability drawbacks.
