That must have cost you loads!! Are lyriks a good fork to have? Think you've rated my bike so would appreciate you giving advice on 160mm forks. Thanks Awsome bke

Lyriks are fantastic forks, I'd definitely go for some 160mm forks, but get something that you can adjust so you can wind them down for the technical climbs.
As for the cost i work in i bile shop so its cost no where near as much as it retails at, i would never in my wildest dreams be able to afford a bike like this if i had to pay full whack

so you went down the krypton gloss/red route. i considered doing it on my quake, and im glad i didnt after seeing yours! its too much contrast and looks a little christmas-ish. im still leaving a you a 10 as its a damn fine bike and i nearly got the '08, but i think the look of the red parts and the green together is not that good. also, check my green marin out if you want, it may interest you and im sure the rims would look great on your bike too. (they are green).

totally agree, this has some real nice spec touches - hammerchmidt for one.

thanks........i think,
i don't think its a good comparison between the 08 attack and the 09, the standard spec on these is phenomenal. trying to keep the weight down so i don't think I'll find anything with a strength to weight ratio of the SX wheels.
I do like your quake though, i might have one next year if i can't get hold of the DH bike they are making, i hear they have re-designed the quake for next year, bit lighter with 180 front and rear!

hot damn! So funking nice. Have the same frame and it is tough as hell. My next big upgrade is to the CrossMax SX wheelset, what are they like?
Oh and did the seatpost add much weight?
ENJOY!
JmasterP replied... on 22 May 2009
seat post adds about 500 grams, but its worth it, the wheels are awesome
