Black Trail - Coed Llandegla Forest

The black trail at Coed Llandegla is made of grin inducing options to the red trail. The trails are well groomed and all features can be rolled with your wheels on the ground. The black splits from the red after the first major descent and dives into the woods where you can snake through the trees on a ribbon of singletrack taking swithcbacks and table tops at your leisure. Plenty of jumps and drops to be had but be aware it's a long way back to the top so keep your lungs and legs ready.

NEW: November 2011. The new Black Section (2.6km) departs from the red trail immediately before the Twins on a new section of North Shore before taking you on a true roller coaster ride through the trees where table tops, doubles, drops and some surprise features are the order of the day. The trail then ascends back up to rejoin the new red rail above one of Coed Llandegla hidden valleys before heading over to North Shore Island.
