Gateway Green Bike Park

Gateway Green Bike Park in Northwest Oregon is Portland’s very first mountain bike park! The design of the park incorporates features and riding space for a wide range of experiences.

Gateway Green is open from 5 am to 9 pm.

Singletrack Trails
Although known for its vibrant cycling culture, Portland has fallen behind other cities relative to access to natural surface singletrack trails. Gateway Green will help close this gap by providing new singletrack built specifically for off-road cycling.

Bike Skills Area
The bike skills area will provide challenges for riders of all levels, helping to build skills and stamina. Riders can practice riding the pumptrack, jump lines and technical features in the park.

Gravity Area
Using the existing topography of the park, this visible and compelling riding component will consist of progressive “flow” and jump lines where riders can translate practice in the skills area into trail riding.

Cyclocross Course
Incorporating the park’s natural varied terrain and skills features, the site could serve as a thriving cyclocross venue, capable of hosting local, regional and possibly national events at this highly visible and centralized location.
