"Challenging loop route with fantastic views. Good for fans of long arduous climbs and long fast descents. Take plenty of food and drink and a "real" map!"

A grand tour of the wild rugged and remote Ardgartan Peninsula with excellent views of the Clyde and the surrounding mountains. Although the route is mostly on forest roads, small sections are on public roads and parts off road. The circuit is best tackled from one of the three starting points in a clockwise direction and can be broken by admiring the views from the picnic area provided. Food/Toilet available at Lochgoilhead.
Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
