Box Woods is a small woodland situated near Corsham, with a network of small downhill mountain bike trails.
The woodland is predominantly made up of mature beech trees so visibility is very good. The ground is very undulated due to collapsed mines underneath the woodland.
This has left the area with lots of bomb holes, jumps, drop off's and other various fun. Recently there has been some riders who have got constructive and built some jumps and drops.
The woodland has excellent drainage, so when the weather turns for the worst, and other venues are just to wet and slippery, then Box Woods always comes up trumps.
It's worth keeping an eye out as there can be ramblers and dog walkers using the woodland, so please respect other woodland users.
Local riders are very friendly and don't forget to explore the entire woodland as there are some hidden gems!
Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
