Summary:
Good variety - lots of options for all abilities
Review:
Pollock Park is huge and in the middle of Glasgow - loads of tarmac paths - thru wooden and river areas. Lots of unmarked forest trails to explore. The 'official' trials are lots of fun - rode the Green and blue with my 9 and 5 year old daughters. The Blue was a bit tough for the 5 year old but she still enjoyed it. 9 year old had a blast. Green trail was suitable for the 5 year old as she is pretty confident. Lots of roots on the blue trails and can be very slippery and muddy if it's been raining. Definitely worth a visit if you live near the city.

Great introductory course / test track
Review:
A nice little group of three official trails with extra amateur additions. The green is flat, but has some twists and turns and a few roots to deal with. This flows straight into the blue route which has some short sharp climbs and descents coupled with a few techinical features. The red is much more of a collection of freeride features than a trail in my opinion and everything has a chicken run. All said, a nice wee set of trails that are great for beginners, sharpening up skills or testing new kit.
The park itself has several carparks and also houses the Burrel Collection and Pollok House meaning emergency refreshments and loos are available as an added bonus.

Fun Track but a bit easy!

The Wooded features are great but although good fun,
aren't really that challenging. It is still a good beginners trail.

This is a hidden trasure. It all started with just a small trail, it has now grown into a trail with numerous features, including black-graded wooded features. You can really build your confidence and technique. There is loads of wee trails around the park, should you wish to go on a exploration!!
