Amazing Trail Centre!
Review:
I visited Comrie Croft for the first time last week. I arrived at about 8.30am to find the car park extremely busy and there was many families already out on bikes. I headed straight for the red and as I suspected as soon as I past the top of the blue route there wasn't a soul to be seen.
Firstly, I'm aware a lot of people use the fire road to get to the top but if you're into technical climbs then I would 100% recommend you follow the actual sign postage which will take you up the intended way. The amount of effort that must have went into this place is crazy and you could spend days there just trying to master all the technical climbs alone. As for the downhills, I intially went intending to do the red and black but id like to point out now that I am in no way an advanced rider and have mostly ridden only trail centres.
Past Decision Rock I climbed further up till I was at the top of the red, amazing views. The trail the cuts off to the left was closed so I headed right and had my first experience of the some downhill there. It was amazing. It was soooo technical in places it was literally my dream, I love tech. Everything can be rolled on the red so you never had to jump (something I'm not great at) it was great. After riding that section it spat me out not far from a signpost pointing back up and another crazy techy climb took me back up to decision rock where I then went left to do that section of red. I found this section a lot harder, well, scarier. I am a bit of a wimp so there were some sections where I'd have to come off my bike to inspect first. Nonetheless it was an incredible descent which makes you feel so skilled and in control even if you're like me and you've only really just started out. Lean back, relax and just be aware of where you're going.
Having finished the red trails I realised that I was in fact far too inexperienced to attempt the black. As a beginner the red definitely pushed me to my limits, in a good way. I've ridden reds and blacks at other trail centres before but I feel like here they were more accurately rated. Based on my experience on the red I imagine the black really is 'severe' and I wouldn't attempt it until I have more experience.
Having finished the red I decided I'd go up and give the blue a go and they didn't disappoint! These are how you would expect blue trails to be!! Absolutely perfect for practicing your skills and getting comfortable on a mountain bike. They even threw in a good few features here and there which is so rare for blue trails, most places they're usually no more than a flat gravel path with a berm or two.
Overall I think this place is just so underrated. I wished I had longer to spend here and full intend to return and possibly rent out one of the available pods with friends so I can explore more or this place.
I would definitely recommend it to all levels of rider.
I would also like to mention that though I wasn't wearing one at the time i would probably recommend a full face helmet if you're doing the red or black, it is 90% rock and I feel like the more you can protect yourself, the better!

Where Reds are Reds and so is the Blue!
Review:
A great venue that’s just a little off the beaten track. Plenty to entertain for an entire day or two.
By the car park there is a skills area which covers everything from gentle rollers to rock chutes and standing drops.
The Blue route feels more like a gentle Red than true Blue; everything can be rolled and there are B-lines around all the large features it is still pretty full-on.
The Reds offer distance, technicality and altitude with superb views and thrilling descents. And for those they don’t offer enough challenge to there are Black alternatives as well. There are numerous loop-backs and shortcuts alllowing for lots of route options and easy re-dos of descents.
Facilities include a bike shop, cafe, car park, camp site and wedding venue.

Comrie Croft 6km
Review:
Initially after a decent rise up fire track with the monotony minimised by great views, the approx 4km of single track provides some testing stuff over rocks and through woods. A little more sign posting would help the 1st timer to guide through the trail obstacles and enable them to be hit at speed knowing where they come out. Great for many on route to/from Fort William/Glen Coe or if on the door step but probably not worth travelling for.
