Summer Lightning and Descent! Wooohh!
Review:
Went for a mornings ride and was I in for a treat! 'Summer Lightning' is a fantastic trail, easy to find as it's marked the whole way along. I love the triple drop off section right near the end, could have stacked with ease! The 'Descent' which is half way down the last leg of the 'Summer Lightning' is pretty hairy. It's fast single track all the way down, although only about 100m in length, if you take this too fast you'll end up in alot of pain! Will be going back to Leith Hill area very soon to explore some more!
*Update - Right went back to this area today and had another fantastic ride. There is so much to be found, with single track off-shoots pretty much everywhere, you just have to keep an eye out for them. There are some extremely steep and technical descents which frightened the life out of me! Even found a small section of Amateur Northshore which was unexpected.
Would recommend all the trails around here as they are a lot of fun, all they need is a little exploring.

Excellent trails, fun and friendly
Review:
Trails are easy to come by around this area, I went with no map of the area and spent all day here. Summer lightning is an excellent trail and found it very easy to link up with other trails. There are some nice jumps scattered around. All in all it was a great day.

The best place to ride near London
Review:
The Redlands trail is one of many trails in the Leith Hill area (near Dorking) and is definately worth trying. There's a nice twisty down hill section above Coldharbour Village and a quite long, gradually descending single track called Summer Lightning which is the only way marked trail in the area. There are plenty of other trails that are unmarked which are fun too, you just need to look out for them and then try and link them together.
