Summary:
Some of the best DH runs within 1hr of West London!
Review:
Great location if you live in West London, Surface to Air is a great challenging DH track with some BIG drop offs and step ups throughout the trail. Recommended Full Face Helmet for sure.
Root Canal is gnarly and DEADLY in the wet. Boneshaker which really challenges you to pick a good line.
Recommend getting an annual pass £60 well worth the value, free parking and all round great fun. No facilities at the site unless an event is running.

Very fun, if you live within 30 miles of here then it's worth the journey.

Been here about 5 times, very fun each time, also can be very challenging. I definitely don't advise coming here if you are brand new to mtb.

The best DH run of the South East
Review:
To me the Black Run is hands down the best DH trail of the region. Here you will find drops, rooty drops, more awkward drops, then big roots, a small rock garden, a nicely steep section with a nice drop into a final berm and table top. So addictive!

Root Canal: gnarly, steep and rooty
Review:
Root Canal is in my opinion just a tad easier than Black Run and features root gardens, rooty drops, a few jumps and a rather steep final section. With a faster first half and a more technical second one, this trail makes for a good transition towards the black graded ones. Fun is guaranteed

Best DH venue near London
Review:
Ahh so good. Gnarly, fast, technical, rooty, steep, flowy, natural. You name it, Aston Hill has it. I rode all trails many times over, except for Black Run, just to have something new to come back to. The trails are varied, well maintained and mega fun. Probably not the best place to ride when wet though, due to the chalky dirt. All in all, a must visit place for the MTB riders around this area.
