Well Designed & Thought Out
Review:
Rode it in January 2009, then went on to ride Kirroughtree, Ae, Mabie, Glentress and Innerleithen.
Great singletrack for most of the route, this trail has some nice optional black sections throughout it's length providing a good bit of variety. In all instances the black and red rejoin each other further on down the trail (no need to push your bike back up the black sections like I did!). It's not as good as Kirroughtree or Glentress, but is still very worth a visit.

Sweet Route
Review:
We rode this as part of an epic weekend trip taking in 4 of the Stanes, and I'd rate it super high. Its a long ride compared to some of the other red routes around but its all good, a little bit of fire road here and there but a lot of single track, rocks and of course the slabs. All the smaller black add on's are good to test your skills and the rock is grippy even when soaking wet. Go ride it.

A great red route
Review:
I really enjoyed riding here. Dalbeattie gets put down a bit I believe, as being too easy or not having enough technical features, but for just pure red route riding it is as good, if not better, than other local 7 stanes red routes. Yes, if you want some black riding aswell, then it probably doesn't compare to Kirri. But RedVRed I rate Dalbeattie highest

It got me hooked
Review:
This was the Second 7Stanes centre I rode, and it was the first with major features and single track. I was hooked straight away, the drop offs really creep up on you. The trail has been well designed, and has real development potential. It has the classic SLAB to test your balls!!!
