Very Good
Review:
For XC its great as the forest is huge. DH runs are best Ive ridden in south. FAST flowing sections intersected by a few technical sections that dont slow you down too much but still allow you to rip and throw around. Seeded with jumps and berms along the way. The only reason Friston doesnt get a 10 is that there are only 3 main DH runs.

Good all round
Review:
Friston is great for all mountain riding, there's a well marked singletrack/xc route with good slopes and burms aswell as the fire road sections. The dh course is decent and varied enough with jumps and plenty of rooty sections. You can pick a section to session to session or ride the whole thing as it's divided up by a few paths on the way down, it's a pig to walk back up though. There's a few pretty poor dirt jumps at the bottom that could do with being built up abit. Good place for an afternoon of riding or just a quick blip after work. Loads of parking (at cost) too.
