Summary:
good entry level trail!
Review:
really liked this trail but only had time to take the shortcut it could do with a few more technical features like droop offs and burms but apart from that it was a nice trail more suited towards people who want to get a taste for mountain biking but are unwilling to try the red route or just for a fun ride for the more experienced cyclist! by the way the signs at the start of the trail say you can ride it on a hybrid!!! pffttt good luck on the roots and sand!

Summary:
fun easy ride
Review:
rode this to extend the day after doing the red route
only one short section of singletrack - the rest is fire road type stuff on a variety of surfaces (watch out for the random deep sand sections ! )
has a little bit of gentle gradient but easy enough to get round for most riders and most machines from hybrids upwards
pleasant ride as a warm up / warm down for the red and black routes

Review:
the red trail has really changed from wheni first rode it 2 years ago, because i was getting bored of the black and thetford.
the forest comission at thetford are starting to build burms and north shore stuff. i think in the summer(08) the trail should be finished

Great days riding
Review:
Completed this trail with my husband and 2 sons who are 12 and 10yrs old. We really enjoyed the experience especially the climbs and descents which we are not used to as we live in Peterborough(the fens, no hills !!). Great days riding, looking forward to doing the red trail next.
