The Great Endor!
Review:
I am one of the original trail builders from silkstone fall woods, the trails have been there for around 9 years now and have been through many changes in that time.
Back in the winter of 2006 we were approached by the land owners regarding the amount of digging that had gone off in the woods we were asked to form a club and everyone who rode their would have to be a member, we were also asked to pay for a lease for the land and insurance.
Low and behold a lot of out regular diggers and riders did not want to support this idea and so we made and agreement with the land owner to stop all digging and leave the woods to return to a natural state, while the majority of us moved onto new projects there were always a few kids that built dodgy jumps here and there and basically the woods were left to them.
Most of the stuff we built is still there, it was built to last after all but it has been neglected and become over grown.
I still pop up there now and again for a blast but everything is getting worn out and the litter and damage from the local kids has made the place an eyesore.
I haven't wrote this to deter people from visiting, but more to say that it was once a truly awesome place to ride and be involved with, i have many great memories of the place as it used to be and i am glad i was there to help create it.
