Summary:
Returning to off road riding, nice little reintroduction trail.

Review:
Heard alot about this trail and decided to give it a go. I have been road or cycle path riding for the past few years and decided I wanted to get back to xc trails riding, heard about croft and thought I would give it a go. Its got nicely looked after trails that aren't too overgrown but have enough vegetation to make it feel wild. The blue trail is nice and easy going with a nice flow, the red trail intersects with the blue in places and has some nice little techy parts to help with the skills. I blitzed round the blue trail and then had a go on the red, decided I would mix it up on the third lap and incorporate bits of both trails. A well spent Saturday morning remembering past glories of youth. I highly recommend and I will be there more often then not.

A nice trail

These trails are never going to set the world on fire, but they are lots of fun and perfect for when you don't want to travel too far but still want a fun fix.

The dirt jumps are lots of fun as well as the rock gardens. I really love the wooden drop offs and north shore as well.

Will return to this place again as it was unexpectedly fun.

Summary:
Super fun and suitable for any rider

Review:
I have ridden the croft trail a few times now and as a beginner to intermediate rider then I would suggest that if you are looking to improve this is the place for you.

It's tight twisty and technical in parts and the rock gardens and features are well placed but every single one has an easy ride around (so if you think you've bitten off more than you can chew you can skip it).

The first red loop is a bit feature low (at the time of writing) I think it had loads of wooden sections that have been pulled down but it's still worth adding in.

The second red section is great and there are a few routes with a downhill bit or a big jump with a cracking berm at the bottom or a well made rock garden which is fun.

The last red section is great as it flows really well and again has some features that you can hit or avoid.

The last section is really tight and twist and just before the big berm at the end there are two trees quite close to each other. If you have big bars (like i do) don't try and squeeze through as it will not end well.

So in summary for a compact site the guys at MB Swindon have built a great feature packed trail with a good mix of terrain. If you are a beginner it is easy and fun to ride and if you are a bit more experience simply try and ride it fast, it becomes a whole new challenge.

Summary:
Good use of the land by MB Swindon

Review:
Swindon isn't known for it's mountains so don't expect long, flowing descents. What you can expect though is about 3 miles of feature packed tight and twisty singletrack. The guys from MB Swindon have done a brilliant job on the land offered them and have made good use of the topography. Expect to see all types of rider here from family groups to the head down arse up brigade
