I can't believe that I have only just found out about Peaslake, I only live about 45 mins away by car and have been introduced to a fantastic place to ride. There are so many different trails, some are prefect for begineers and some are just plane crazy, I was fortunate to go riding with some great guys who know the place inside out, and when we arrived at the 15ft drop off they informed me that "I would be best going around thi one". They were correct!! Stick your GPS in your bag then have a great day out...but don't forget to try the cheese straws and a mug of tea in the local store. Happy riding.

Having got a bit bored of Peaslake and the immediate area,i have been caning it hard this year.
BKB is the nuts, having been reworked to some extent,it is so fast and flows really well, but it is just the tip of the iceberg.
I have at least a hundred trails listed on Strava, some of them are epic, the newest being Bronson, others remain nameless, huge gap jumps ,gnar that is really GNARRY,we have decided it's better than Coed etc,(mainly because it's only 45mins drive !!!)
If you don't know where they are,you have no hope of finding them, ask ...
If you want a guide and you ain't too shabby or too fast message me,lol!

Rode this for the first time with my mates this week, and liked it so much we doubled back and had another two runs! Fast, flowing singletrack with lots of berms and small jumps. Everyone we saw shooting out the finish had huge grins on their faces! Only other track I've enjoyed this much is Cwm Rhaeder in Brecon.

I live and ride mainly in the Lakes, North Pennines and Scotland, but recent trips to see the 'inlaws' have had me visiting the area. This time, I came down suitably equiped with bike and what I said would be just a good hours blast on a hot Sunday morning, developed into superb, 4+ hours riding around some delightfully technical and flowing singletrack. The tree roots and overhanging branches keep you focused, and the tracks seem to form a maze of miles of quality riding. The riding can be made as strenuous as you want, and its perfect for families and beginners as well as the more experienced rider looking for a great days riding. I found some great, short, very technical sections hidden away that had me doubling back and riding that section more than once. Can't wait for the next trip down south to see the 'inlaws'.
