one of the best in Suffolk, great variety. the trail is well maintained by the TROG team who do great work, and they should know that its appreciated.
it is quite a long trail, so not for the unfit.

Awesome, well-maintained trail

Suffolk's best trail! Well-maintained by the TROG team, and the quality of the trail is great! Very fun also, but can be too strenuous for the unfit.

Great local trail
Review:
There aren't many good trails in East Anglia - it's a very limited part of the country unfortunately. This trail however - the Viking Trail - is one of the best. There is only one trail here in Tunstall Forest: it's graded red, is 10 miles in length, has a variety of single track through relatively dense forest. Most of the trail is tight and twisty, with some moderate climbs and some faster twisty sections. There's also a couple of bombdrops to be found - the first, and a big one at that, is easily found about a mile into the trail. The trail is good for fitness, but is definitely fun, particularly throughout the faster parts of the trail which are in the middle section. There's also a series of dirt jumps south of Tunstall Forest, west of Sudbourne.

Worth a try

Not the most elevation you have ever ridden, but get your pedal on and a nice flow can be had with lots of bermed corners. One or two bomb holes to liven things up along the way that can be ridden around if needed.
