Summary:
busy, but good riding

some fun downhills, but quite hard climbs for my 12yo. have to earn the downhills next tie rather than starting near the top.

I wouldn't describe this as bike friendly as there is no real indication of the trail.
Very muddy. Some nice fast bits down from the stones to the pub.
Very muddy in parts when wet on the outer loop.
Good cafe

At the time of writing this I am new to mountain biking, so was looking for a good introduction to the sport. The trails at Clent Hill are a great balance for those who want to gain experience without the embarrassment of looking like a tit. Some of the single track trails are fairly technical, especially in the mud and rain which reduces traction by quite a bit. It's worth spending time exploring as you'll come across some good challenges in the wooded areas. Biking back up to the top of the hill for another go is hard work at times (some sections a pretty steep), as the open areas are where the joggers/dog walkers/back packers hang out. All in all great fun. Looking forward to having another go when it's not hammering it down with rain!
