Like riding up a rocky riverbed
Review:
I recently thought I’d give the Dragons Back a go. What a mistake, straight out from the start it’s a rock garden with some evil technical climbs, dodging rocks and slowly picking your route. I especially hated the after Lunch treat (117) of a tarmac road climb where I nearly lost my lunch then more rocky trails only changing to large slabs and small drops. The trail does have some great trail from 125 but in my opinion the trail is a wrist killing, teeth chattering hell and the Coed Y Brennen review needs to say that. The other two red trails do have small rock gardens and a smoother trail surface, the jump between them and the Dragons Back is a large one so be prepared.

Dragons Back Trail is a bit of a monster to reach the top of (couple small sections on the way up), there doesn't seem to be a great deal of down compared to what you go up, but when you are coming down it is just brilliant. Such a great trail and you can tell it has been aimed to keep everything as natural as possible.
Scenery is amazing, crossing some small water features which run across the trails which is cool!
Defiantly worth a go but do be prepared for a bit of a climb up!

Not mi favourite trail just seem along climb to me and when you get some speed up your back on a climb really need a fast down hill bit top to bottom that puts a big smile on your face and makes you want to go up again better signed posted up, the black sections was poor this trail is ideal for people hue like climbing. Excellent cafe and bike shop.

This place is simply amazing, its very tech when ridden fast which is always best way!!! Climbs are out numbered by the downhills by far, rocky climbs are fun and challenging and fire roads give chance for a chat and breather. New false teeth section 10 out of 10, uncle feser brill as always, dream time, begining of the end, able, slated, the list goes on. its simply brilliant. Hardtail/full sus, whichever you have you will love this place. We drive 270 miles in one day to do this trip and it is well well worth the trip!!!!!!!
