Good for a ride out.
Review:
This is a good local ride there are loads off tracks. From leisure to fast. If your looking for Dh sections then there's not any jumps but if a few technical down sections

Avoid Harp Hill
Review:
New to MTB, but I know the area well as I have walked there in the past. Harp Hill is one way to get to the top but Its a long way nice and steep. Once I was at the top nice and open and many tracks to chose from. I think this will be a regular ride for me as Its nice and quite and a great mix of trails

Review:
I tend to ride Cleeve once a week and do a very similar route to melon however I continue straight ahead at the aerials to join the track on the other side. I continue down to where a golf fairway is cut in 2 by the track and veer off right down a v shaped valley. Follow this all the way down and its a very quick, semi technical DH, back up round the hill to the golf course car park and loop round to come down through the butterfly area into prestbury. Job done.

walking hot spot not a cycling hot spot
Review:
NIce view at top - very windy thats it not worth going to, no bike trails, cannock chase is the best place for biking if you live in the midlands.

do a trip up cleeve hill maybe 2/3 times a week - 52 days a year.... - mainly for fitness (going up) and fun (on the way down). - Does get very muddy in winter and cut up by horses/cattle/sheep also. - Start by going up on road Harps Hill (near Battledown estate / The Hewlett put) - then round and up Aggs Hill - gets nice and steep... Levels out and carry on up towards the motorcross/off road track. You can have 5 mins fun here if you wish... Then up to the 3 ariels at the top of the hill. From here you have several options. I normally go right.. Carry straight on.. Then after last gate through into the wood and along a nice downhill trail then gets very very steep for last 300 metres. Go left at bottom up towards a round house then a nice farmouse. Carry on until you get back on to Cleeve Common. (This is about 1 hour)..
