Second attempt and we found this place - always the way, when you know how to find it - it's easy.

I'm brand new to this kind of trail. 95% of my riding has been at Haldon so this kind of track and jumps are a new concept. To be honest, I didn't get that much time to explore the place as a mate I was with ended up crashing into a tree, cutting our trip short! (ended up at ED)

There are so many jumps and trails, it was almost overwhelming to begin with. We didn't really know where to begin. The tracks are pretty much ride down, then push back up again. There is no loop you can ride, but that's fine - it's a DH location.

A lot of the jumps are pure dirt, so after the rain where quite soft, that could play a factor in how well you ride them.

The location is in the middle of nowhere, so no toilet, cafe or anything else. I am on Three and had good mobile coverage. You also have all of Woodbury common around to explore, should you want a change from the jumps.

Well worth a visit I would say :)

Exactly the place I've been looking for, haven't been riding too long and have been looking for somewhere to improve my jumps, this place is ideal, nothing too hardcore but the jumps that are there flow really well and are just so do-able. Planty of opportunity for linking lots of different short lines together. Could do with a bit of tidying up in places but lots of potential :)

i like it most because its one of the only loacal trails in the area where dh/freeride is good. plus no bmx ers go there mucking it up so its less likely to get torn down. also grate for a person like me who wants to start getting faster at dh and ride proper trails without having to go on a long car journy.
