Yes, it is (Met Parachute). I like it but it depends on what you want it for. Best way to describe it, is half way between a conventional helmet and full face.
With face guard off it looks a bit toss, with it on, it is not the best looking helmet in my eyes, but the face guard has had to decent hits (probably should replace it) which would of resulted in my face. The face guard would probably break with a really big impact but at least then its done its job.
As for trail riding it is fine, nice and cool surprisingly and quite light, I would recommend it to anyone and seem to be coming common on the trails.
