it really is close to the edge, i have even seen a chap slip down a good 20 feet too, at one of the less steep banks onto grass (must have been a very lucky day for him!). the trail is great fun buzzing round the edges of the gully, keep up your speed and flow and it pays dividends, watch out for some of the tight switchback corners they can be a bit loose and u do not want to slip into the abyss! im not sure about the photo above either, trying to place it near the end of the gully section before it flows right into the forest to the jumps maybe?? correct colour dirt though lol!!

Do it three times in a row
Review:
Go round once and you'll be hesitant for fear of falling down the gully. By the third time you can blast down it forgetting that there is a big drop to the left. You can really push the limits of the track and give yourself a scare now and again. One of my favourites.

Very well named!

Good lord, I did this today and found it basically very hard (and pretty scary to be frank). It uses very narrow singletrack that clings to a very steep slope with a pretty impressive drop on your left almost the whole way down. Look away from the track at your peril! Very technical but with very few of the normal earth features or jumps you might expect on a black downhill run. The picture above is a fake I think!
